Somaform began out of frustration with flimsy home office stands. Mass-produced risers frequently relied on thin stamped sheet metal and fragile plastic joints that drooped after a month of daily typing. We wanted workstation equipment that felt as solid and well-machined as the laptops resting on them.
We set up direct production using structural 6063 aluminum plate, solid kiln-dried oak, and dense non-woven wool felt. Every hardware pivot relies on steel metric bolts that can be adjusted with standard tools, ensuring components stay firm over years of use.
We sell directly to customers across the United Kingdom without intermediary distributor margins. Every order is inspected on a flat granite reference plate, boxed in recycled packaging, and shipped with full tracking straight to your door.
Solid Metal Build
We use thick gauge aluminum plate instead of thin folded sheet metal or hollow plastics. This provides stability that stops monitor wobble.
Serviceable Hardware
All pivot points use standard metric hex fasteners. You can adjust friction resistance at any time using simple household tools.
Honest Materials
We use genuine kiln-dried timber and natural pressed wool. We never use artificial woodgrain vinyl or low-density foam.
We measure screen height against eye level and build stands that lock securely in place. If a desk tool wobbles or drops, it fails its primary purpose.
